Tahoe 2010-03-20 to 2010-03-27. Seri and Adam spent the night on Saturday at 4030 Doe Ave, Tahoe Pines. Dinner at Wolfdale's.
Sunday was spent at Squaw Valley with Seri, Adam, Mitchell, Lara, Alice, Brady, Cory, and Simon. Met Mark Jennings and his two dogs, Kailee and Josie, while I was walking around exploring the Village at Squaw. Picked up Margie at Truckee.
Monday was ski day with Margie at Squaw. That night, I realized I lost my skis from the car ski rack driving back from Squaw to the cabin.
The next morning Margie and I went to look for them where they fell off the car but they weren't there, as expected. I drove Margie around Lake Tahoe on Tuesday, including Emerald Bay/Vikingsholm. We stopped by Mark Jenning's house then drove back to South Tahoe for dinner at Cafe Fiore.
Wednesday was our "lazy" day. We rested till the afternoon then drove to South Tahoe to shop at Sports Ltd, ate a late lunch at Driftwood Cafe, then rented skis. We drove back to Homewood to take a short break, then headed to Squaw to ice skate. Just in case we stopped by Squaw's rental shop and my skis were there! An employee found them and brought them in. The skis were waxed and the binding settings changed, so we think he was probably going to give them to a girlfriend if no one claimed them. Lucky me!! It turned out we couldn't ice skate because the ice rink had melted a bit during the day but I was so happy to recover my skis, I didn't care. We celebrated at Blue Coyote.
Thursday and Friday were spent skiing at Northstar (we got lucky again and were able to get $35 lift tickets through Mark's friend) and driving to South Tahoe to eat dinner at Cafe Fiore--we love their desserts!
